Philanthropy Event: Broomball

Nationally, Pi Beta Phi's philanthropies revolve around literacy. All of our philanthropic efforts go toward Links to Literacy, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and Arrow in the Artic. Pi Beta Phi's primary fundraising events are Arrow Open and Broomball. Arrow Open is a mini-golf tournament held for sisters and their families in the fall at a local miniature golf course. Arrow Open is followed by a fundraising dinner at a local restaurant, and the Greek and East Lansing communities are invited. Broomball is a hockey-like tournament held in spring, where the Greek community is invited to compete in the tournament. Additionally, Pi Beta Phis participate in Champions are Readers, in which members visit local schools and read to the children.
