About Alpha Epsilon Pi at Michigan State University
Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Jewish Fraternity of North America, was founded to provide opportunities for Jewish men seeking the best possible college and fraternity experience. We have maintained the integrity of our purpose by strengthening our ties to the Jewish community and serving as a link between high school and career. Alpha Epsilon Pi develops leadership for the North American Jewish community at a critical time in a young man's life. Alpha Epsilon Pi’s role is to encourage the Jewish student to remain dedicated to Jewish ideals, values, and ethics and to prepare the student to be one of tomorrow’s leaders so that he may help himself, his family, his community, and his people.
AEPi was founded in 1913 under the arch at New York University by Charles C. Moskowitz and 10 other Jewish men. Michigan State Unviersity’s Chi Chapter was started in 1934.
Last year, we won for the second year in a row the highest GPA of any organized group on campus, including the business fraternity. We strive to work with Hillel and co-program to make sure we are using all of our resources to the fullest potential. And finally, we are back-to-back Greek Week champions, donating over $30,000 each year to Relay for Life and the Make a Wish Foundation. The chapter thrives in its dedication to brotherhood, participating in weekly basketball games at the intramural buildings across campus as well as winning the MSU Broomball League. We recently had our annual Superbowl Party with guests charged a reduced rate with their donation to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

Philanthropy Event: Shaare Zedek Medical Center
Located in central Jerusalem, Shaare Zedek is the official provider for the Israeli Defense Force as well as the world's leading researcher of bio-chemical warfare response. Shaare Zedek is also the official provider for the Israel Defense Force. The money raised by AEPi will go toward the “Brother to Brother Campaign,” connecting AEPi brothers everywhere to our peers serving in the Israeli Army. Known in Israel as the “Hospital with a Heart.” Shaare Zedek does not treat illnesses, it treats patients.
